How To Make Hamburgers Stop Motion Review
How To Make Hamburgers is a 2 minute stop motion mini movie made by Guldies which I found in youtube. The story is very simple which is about how to make hamburgers in a stop motion way. Guldies has made bunch of stop motion animation, ranging from 2 minute to 5 minutes one, he stated in his youtube profile that he never worked with paper before and he likes to experience with several different mediums. He is able to finish 1800 frames in just 3 weeks, I think that is crazy. I've seen couple of his animation such as FANTASIA and Euphoria, his main medium is dominated by clay and he uses a lot of human's monstreous face character. His animation is really smooth and well understood
My review:
This animation is pretty unique in my opinion, as Guldies combines both real life kitchen utensils and clay to make his hamburgers. The movie starts with a tray full of clays (with different colour such as green, blue, red, cream, brown, and so on). Then he takes the pale cream colour clay and mold it which later on turns into a buns. The transition between the clay and bun is very smooth, I cannot even notice any weird part inside it.
He keeps repeating the process again and again (green clay turns into lettuce and brown clay turns into meat). This animation is really interesting, not just it's unique, but it has the sense of humour as well.
