This week, we keep continuing doing the sets, more specifically the puppets. Our tutor gave us a tutorial from youtube which is very useful and we use that for our guidelines. Each of the steps are easy to follow and the materials are easy to found as well, and the most important thing is it is so cheap. I've ever checked armatures on internet and it costs like hundred bucks... and usually it's being used for professional purpose such as big stop motion animation projects. Since this is our first time doing it, experiencing "the way" of making it is very valuable.

So, I'm working on Zack's armatures while Megan on Lulu's. We just need couple of armature wires (what is the difference between that one and the original wires? Armature wires are basically thicker and has a solid structure, so when we move our puppets later one they won't be like humans with no bones), epoxy putty, and aluminium foil.

Firstly we measure the wires based on out character's height and hips size, cut it, and do it one more time. So we have two wires for the body structure basic. And then we just make another 3 to 4 more layers for the hips to down parts, the purpose is to get more stable and stronger armatures. We did the same for the hands as well. Finally, we cut little by little the epoxy putty and put it ontop of the chest part, upper arms, lower arms, hips, leg thighs, leg calves, and the foot.

So this is what it looks like after the epoxy putty harden:

The left side is Zack, and Lulu on the right side.
