Works: Cybporg 009 (manga)
Work description: Created by Shotaro Ishinomori, Cyborg 009 tells a story about an athlete who lost his leg and transformed into a cyborg later on. It was being adapted into animation in 1966.

Name: Hiroshi Sasagawa
Born: 9th July 1936
Works: Mach Go Go Go (manga)
Work description: Created in 1967, popular in the western countries which and adapted as an animation couple years later.

2. USA
Name: Disney
Works: The Jungle Book (1967)
Work description: It's recognised as being the first animation movie which the characters are being animated through real life performances and it was Walt Disney's last movie

Name: George Dunning
Born: 17th November 1920
Works: Yellow Submarine (1968)
Work description: The animation tells the story of The Beatles travelling in a yellow submarine. Every single of their song are being animated using different kind of animation styles.

Born: 12th April 1925 (Oliver Postgate) and 11th December 1928 (Peter Firmin)
Works: Ivor The Engine, Bagpuss, and Noggin the Dog
Work description: Oliver and Peter built an animation studio company named Smallfilms.

Name: Jules Bass

Works: Mad Monster Party (1967)
Work description: Mad Monster Party is a stop motion film made by MOM Productions, Japan for Jules Bass, an American producer.

5. Italy
Name: Osvaldo Cavandoli
Born: 1st January 1920
Works: The Line (1969)
Work description: The Line is short simple animation which was made for Italian TV show called Carosello. There are around 19 series of it.

6. Belgium

Year founded: 1956
Works: Asterix The Gaul (1967)
Work description: The first Asterix comic was made by Rene Goscinny and Albert Uderzo and later on was adapted into 12 animation films called Asterix The Gaul in 1967.

7. Canada
Name: Eva Szasz
Works: Cosmic Zoom (1968)
Work description: Cosmic Zoom movie is based on a book called Cosmic View (1957) by Kees Boeke. The story is mostly about zoom in and zoom out focusing on a boy character who is on a boat in the middle of a lake with his dog.

Work description: He has been making a lot of award winning films in the 1960s which one of them won an Oscar in 1970. I like his free and simple animation style but has a deep meaning inside it.

Name: Pavao Stalter and Branko Ranitovic
Works: The Masque of the Red Death (1969)
Work description: The movie is the adaptation Edgar Allen's classic horror tale which is a story about Prince Prospero's attempt to avoid dangerous plagues.

Works: There Lived Kozyavin (1966)
Work description: The film is about communist. The animation style is quite simple using black colour for the main character.

10. UK/USA
Name: Terry Gilliam
Born: 22nd November 1940
Works: Storytime (1968) and Monty Pythons Flying Circus
Work description: His speciality is in making animation using cutout photos and victorian style kind of animation.

After watching several animation histories, I'm very interested in The Line which is made by Osvaldo Cavandoli. The story and character are very simple, but it's very interesting and unique. It made me laugh a lot after watching that one haha.
