Developing Story With More Details

My animatic finishes for around 51s, and I thought I would like to develop my story a bit more, especially the scene when Briana is getting terribly sad. I tried asking several people about my animatic for critiques and most of them said that they don't really understand the story, so I decided to make it clearer.

I made some research regarding how to tell a memory without having the character doing a flashback or saying it. And I got an idea from an anime that I watched randomly which tells the story of a girl in high school who has supernatural power as her father is a demon and her mother is an ordinary human. She has an older brother who is an exorcist living far away at London. From what I got, if there is a scene in this anime that wants to let the audiences know about the new character (whether the character just arrived or introducing a new character), the camera always directs it towards several picture frames. From that pictures the audiences will know who that new character is and that is what I want to portray as well in my animation.

Anime title: Dance with Devils (It is a drama musical anime)

(Those are the scenes when they are focusing on the characters)

So I drew 5 picture frames which tells the life story about Brianna, since the first time she was a cheerful girl, fun to be with, then on the day she lost her hope (the day when she fell of the cliff and lost her left leg), the time when she is being hospitalised, and rest of her days being so down and unexcited about life.

At first I was confused on how I gonna show this pictures by focusing on them one by one, but then I got an idea which is to use the top and side view option in toonboom harmony. I zoom in the pictures and extended couple of frames (which is around 20 to 25 frames) for each of them and move them slowly so that people will notice on what is happening. In order to get a better timing for it, I stopped for couple of frames, especially the part when she is falling down.
It took me around more or less 3 to 4 hours doing this all.
I put all those picture frames right onto the wall near Brianna's drawing table:

So this is the animation that I did for this particular part:

For the last part I did a zoom in and pause for probably 2 seconds. Please give me your comments and critiques :)
